CG Preview (NSFW)

- [Story] Play beach volleyball under the tutelage of a washed-up...er, "experienced", volleyball coach and become the beach's baddest babe! Play through the quest [Summer Beach Brawl] for tons of rewards, including new outfits and weapons! You can start the request by going to the beach from Ranbol. You must complete the quests [Holy Magic Arc: A Warm Welcome] and [Sky Magic Arc: Adjudicating Adjuncts] first.
- [Art] Lots of new art!
- Six brand new CGs that depict the player, NPCs, and Gemma stripping off their tops and bottoms after losing a round of volleyball.
- New bikini outfits for Gemma, Longren, and NPC women, and new swimsuits for Lloyd and NPC men!
- [Locations] Added the beach location and the north beach sublocation. All new events and skits are available in these places, so explore them thoroughly!
- [Activity] Play a special new combat mode: strip volleyball! Your stats will be normalized, and you'll be limited to using special volleyball moves during these special battles. However, you can still use items, and your equipped mantra will still be functional! Volleyball matches happen in at least two rounds. After each round, the loser has to remove their top or bottom. Whoever ends up naked first loses! You must be wearing either the new sporty swimsuit or the sexy bikini outfit to play, but you can quickly equip the sporty swimsuit right on the beach. As you win volleyball matches, you'll collect your opponent's swimsuits. Report to Ralph for rewards as you continue to collect these! He'll dole out G and high-tier consumables as you win matches!
- [Skits][Erotica] Explore the beach to bump into new and familiar faces for fun erotic and comedic scenes. After completing the main quest of this live event, [Summer Beach Brawl], you'll be able to interact with Gemma. Defeat her in a volleyball match for the opportunity to tease her. Also, if you lose to her, you might find her doing some...questionable things with the bikini she wins off of you.
- [Cosmetics] Added new outfits for Iris, Meila, and the throne realm servant.
- New outfit: Sporty Swimsuit. This is rewarded toward the start of the [Summer Beach Brawl] quest!
- Outfit variants: Topless versions of the Sporty Swimsuit and Sexy Bikini will become available in the wardrobe after losing a volleyball match for the first time. You can also freely remove your top or both you top and bottom when wearing one of these outfits at the beach.
- A new bikini outfit for Meila! Head to the beach and use the "Talk to Meila" option (may take a couple of tries) and eventually she'll start wearing a bikini at the beach.
- [Combat] Added new weapon: the Beach Babe Blade: "A dagger with pretty shell shapes engraved on the handle, and an undulating blade that resembles a wave. This dagger grants it's wielder keen stacks. It grants bonus stacks of keen if the caster has none when the dagger is used." Acquire it by completing the quest [Summer Beach Brawl].
Additional content will come out sometime in August: additional events, skits, and activities!
Volleyball Recommended Combat Rotation
Here's an example rotation you can use for volleyball matches! This is just to get you started, come up with your own strategies as you play!
- Without enhanced serve: Start with a few sets, until you have 25+ competition stacks. Hit the enemy with mock at least once to inflict some rattled stacks. Use bump repeatedly to deal damage. If you perform the competition aura's special attack and the enemy is still alive, you'll be out of competition stacks, but the enemy will still be rattled, so switch over to spikes and finish them off or quickly build back competition stacks.
- With enhanced serve: The rotation is similar, but instead of starting with sets, open with a few normal attacks (i.e., enhanced serves). Once you have a decent number of keen stacks, you can use a few sets, but you will likely need fewer now because of the increased critical hit rate from keen. You won't generally need to do any mocks, just go straight to bumps. If you perform the competition aura's special attack and the enemy is still alive, you can use spikes or normal attacks to finish them off, depending on their remaining HP (spike deals more damage and builds competition, but its accuracy is quite low, so if you can finish them off with a single normal attack, do that).
